Efcee Hotels was conceived in late 2012 under Leela Hospitality & Services with the ambition to build a five-star hotel in Bhavnagar. The city also houses the company’s headquarters.

Mr. Komalkant F. Sharma is the Group Chairman and Managing Director. Mr Nirav Akshay Oza leads Efcee Hotels in the capacity of CEO.

Being an avid traveller, Mr Komalkant Sharma saw the void of a state-of-the-art hotel in the town and came up with the intention to build Efcee Sarovar Premiere. Today it’s the city’s first purpose-built star-category hotel with 99 rooms and multiple food and beverage outlets, including banquets and lawns.

The company is under a management contract with Sarovar Hotels. In 2020, we acquired a 180-room property in Ahmedabad and refurbished it entirely. Today, it is operated under the name of Vivanta by Taj, Ahmedabad.
