MOU signed between Leela Worldwide and Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute

With an aim to promote Ship Recycling and Maritime Education, Leela Ship Recycling Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Leela Worldwide, and Sir Bhavsinhji Polytechnic Institute signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The primary purpose behind this agreement is to focus on different collaborative activities, by drawing upon the strengths of these national institutions for bringing enhanced career opportunities, internship practices, and leveraging training workshops with the best packages.

Together, with advanced technologies and modern education curricula, efforts shall be made to promote the advancement of ship recycling and maritime education. Both the institutions agreed to exchange knowledge and take up capacity building of functionaries at all levels by bringing the best-in-class expertise on board.

Establishing the vision of promoting innovation and unlocking the power of a pragmatic approach in education, this MOU will help in the application of ship recycling practices and maritime education in the real world. Besides that, a focal vision is to prepare students for successful careers in the field and keep them up-to-date with the latest technologies, and markets so they can bring out innovation in them.
Together, both institutions are planning and strategizing ahead to collaborate and sign in with state-of-the-art and industry-specific professors who can add value to their know-how and make them stand ahead of the market competition.
